| 2- Course aims :- |
| - To identify the main items on statistical geographical distribution of both cereal and sugar crops in Egypt i.e.Wheat,Maize,Rice,Barly,Sugar cane Sugar Beet Stevia Sweet maize
- To teach the stages of soil preparing before sowing and their differences from crop to others in old or in newly reclaimed lands.
- To understand the methods of crop prodcution such as Times of Sowing, Growth stages , Fertilization , Irrigation , Weed control and Harvesting date.
- To give knowledges about differnces between cultivars for higher production.
- To learn the differences among the new cultivars of these crops for commerical production such as hybrids of maize.
- To study differnt growth stages as well as plant morphology i.e. roots , stems , leaves , inflorcences , flowering , pollination and germnation stages.
- To know some practical methods in the field and how to be done.
