2- Course aims :- |
| - To identify the main items of statistical distribution in Egypt of both forage and pasture crops i.e.Egyption clover,Lucerne,Dolichous lablab ,Sorgum etc..
- To learn the processes of soil prepartion before sowing and their differences from crop to others in old or in newly reclaimed soils.
- To know different methods of ideal crop prodcution dealing with different aspects of agriculture i.e. Times of Sowning, Growth stages , Fertilization , Irrigation , Weed control and cutting date.
- To learn knowledges about factors affecting productivity of forage and pasture crops i.e. light , temprature , soil factors and factors affecting on quality of forage yield.
- To know differnces among new cultivars of these crops for higher forage yield and its quality.
- To teach the important of plant growth stages as well as morphology such as roots , stems , leaves , inflorcences , flowering , pollination and fertilization etc..
- To make students acquire practical experience on important agronomical practices in the field for forage production.
