2- Course aims :-
  1. To identify the main items of statistical distribution in Egypt of both forage and pasture crops i.e.Egyption clover,Lucerne,Dolichous lablab ,Sorgum etc..
  2. To learn the processes of soil prepartion before sowing and their differences from crop to others in old or in newly reclaimed soils.
  3. To know different methods of ideal crop prodcution dealing with different aspects of agriculture i.e. Times of Sowning, Growth stages , Fertilization , Irrigation , Weed control and cutting date.
  4. To learn knowledges about factors affecting productivity of forage and pasture crops i.e. light , temprature , soil factors and factors affecting on quality of forage yield.
  5. To know differnces among new cultivars of these crops for higher forage yield and its quality.
  6. To teach the important of plant growth stages as well as morphology such as roots , stems , leaves , inflorcences , flowering , pollination and fertilization etc..
  7. To make students acquire practical experience on important agronomical practices in the field for forage production.
