| 2- Course aims :- |
| - To teach the main items of statistical distribution of both cereal and legume crops in Egypt and the world i.e.Wheat,Maize,Rice,Barly,Lentile,Fababean,Cheakpea,lupine and fenugreek.
- To know the stages of soil preparing before sowing and their differences from crop to others in old or in newly reclaimed soils.
- To understand methods of crop prodcution such as Times of Sowing, Growth stages , Fertilization , Irrigation , Weed control and Harvesting date.
- To give knowledges about using biological fertilizers with legume crops using differnt Rhizobium strains.
- To know the differences between the new cultivars for commerical production such as hybrids of maize and rice.
- To study differnt growth stages as well as plant morphology i.e. roots , stems , leaves , inflorcences , flowering , pollination and and germnation stages.
- To know some practical methods in the field and how to be done.
