| 2- Course aims :- |
| - To learn the main items of statistical distribution of both cereal and legume crops in Egypt and the world i.e. Wheat,Maize,Rice,Barly,Lentile,Fababean,Cheakpea,lupine and fenugreek.
- To teach students stages of soil preparing before sowing and their differences from crop to others in old or in newly reclaimed lands.
- To understand the methods of crop prodcution such as Times of Sowing, Growth stages , Fertilization , Irrigation , Weed control and Harvesting date.
- To give knowledges about using biological fertilizers with legume crops which differ by differnt Rhizobium strains.
- To know the differanes among the new cultivars of these crops in the commerical production such as hybrids of maize and rice.
- To study growth stages as well as plant morphology i.e. roots , stems , leaves , inflorcences , flowering , pollination and fertilization etc..and germnation stages.
- 7-To teach some practical methods in the field and how to be done.
