| - Planning a GIS project and assigning the GIS spatial data themes
- Introduce the students to the main GIS principles and basics
- Train the students on the GIS Project planning and design
- Train the students on the different methods of data digitizing, editing, and geocoding
- Train the students on identifying and correct digitizing errors
- Understanding the concept of Topology and train the student on constructing Topology using ArcInfo and ArcEdit
- Train the students to deal with attribute data, e.g. Getting Attribute Data into ARC/INFO, linking attributes to spatial features and joining adjacent themes.
- Introduce the students for different methods of spatial data analysis and GIS Queries
- Introduce the students to various techniques of Georeferencing and coordinate systems
