| - To acquaint Computer Science students with the fundamental concepts of statistics and some basics in probability
- To develop an understanding of the role of statistics.
- To provide an understanding of the processes by which real-life statistical problems are analyzed.
- To familiarize students with computer-based statistical analysis by doing some computer projects
- To solve the basic problems in statistics and performance the different analysis and measurements
