2- Course aims :-
  1. Introduce the principles of the physical and historical geology.
  2. Outline the basic information of topographic contour maps and the most important geological events occurred on the earth since the first evolution.
  3. Acquire the students skills of weathering agents affecting the earth and the knowledge of date and mechanism of the geologic events.
  4. Introduce the principles of the different processes affecting the earth such as rivers, winds, groundwater, glaciers and coastal erosion.
  5. Develop the different topographic features from the different weathering processes.
  6. Outline the basic information of the stratigraphic sequences in Egypt and worldwide.
