2- Course aims :- |
| - Indtroduce the principles of the gravity and magnetic prospecting methods
- Study the gravity and magnetic prospecting techniques to explore the upper few kilometers of the earth for natural resources, environmental, and engineering problems.
- Enable the students on the planning of the field survey, selecting the appropriate equipments for each particular problem and executing the required field work.
- Outline the basic information about various techniques of reducing gravity and magnetic data, forward and inverse modeling, and geological interpretation.
