2- Course aims :-
  1. Indtroduce the principles of the gravity and magnetic prospecting methods
  2. Study the gravity and magnetic prospecting techniques to explore the upper few kilometers of the earth for natural resources, environmental, and engineering problems.
  3. Enable the students on the planning of the field survey, selecting the appropriate equipments for each particular problem and executing the required field work.
  4. Outline the basic information about various techniques of reducing gravity and magnetic data, forward and inverse modeling, and geological interpretation.
