2- Course aims :- |
| - Introduce the principles of hard igneous and metamorphic rocks allover the Egyptian terrain; Eastern Desert, Western Desert and Sinai.
- Outline the basic information of structural geology as a part of the global Earth system.
- Study the earth mechanism, force within the earth and the related deformational features.
- Acquire the student skills for planning of the field survey, deduce the different types of structure, their mechanism and exercise the solved tectonic localities.
- Develop the economic importance of the structural elments in concentration and development of ore deposits.
