2- Course aims :-
  1. Introduce the principles of hard igneous and metamorphic rocks allover the Egyptian terrain; Eastern Desert, Western Desert and Sinai.
  2. Outline the basic information of structural geology as a part of the global Earth system.
  3. Study the earth mechanism, force within the earth and the related deformational features.
  4. Acquire the student skills for planning of the field survey, deduce the different types of structure, their mechanism and exercise the solved tectonic localities.
  5. Develop the economic importance of the structural elments in concentration and development of ore deposits.
