2- Course aims :-
  1. Introduce the principles of the geologic factors that control the occurrence, movement and chemistry of groundwater and surface water.
  2. Study the common groundwater problems with emphasis on water supply, groundwater flow and groundwater chemistry.
  3. Use the principles of the main geomorphologic features and landforms
  4. Aquire the students on how to recoginzeand verfiy the different features and landforms, field survy, field procedures
  5. Train the students to use and integrate different geological data to interpert and evaluate oil reservoir
  6. Aquire the students to interpertand localize the different oil traps
  7. Outline the basic information of the main petroleum provancies in Egypt
