2- Course aims :- |
| - Introduce the principles of geophysical prospecting techniques to explore the upper few kilometers of the lithosphere for natural resources, environmental and engineering problems.
- Enable the students to use the main methods of prospecting, instrumentation and fieldwork.
- Acquire the students skills on planning of the field survey, selecting the appropriate equipment, excuting the required work and handling the field procedures.
- Outline the basic information of the various techniques of reducing geophysical data, forward and inverse modeling and geological interpretations.
