| - Introduce the basic information of petroleum and petrochemistry
- Study the composition, physical and chemical properties of petroleum products and petrochemicals
- Introduce the basic information of alicyclic and polynuclear compounds
- Introduce the principles of nomenclature of alicyclic compounds.
- Study the methods of preparation of major classes of alicyclic and polynuclear compounds
- Study the physical and chemical properties of major classes of alicyclic and polynuclear compounds.
