| - Introduce the principles of the main applications of geologic methods in engineering projects.
- Acquire the students skills to solve engineering problems in light of rock mechanics and other geologic information.
- Outline the basic information of the origin of sedimentary grains, facies and sedimentary environment.
- Study the different types on clastic and non-clastic sedimentary rocks.
