Specialization:
Teaching Hours: Theoretical: 3Tutorial: Practical: 4
2- Course aims :-
  1. Study the metamorphic petrology as a part of the global Earth system.
  2. Introduce the students to the localities where the metamorphic processes occur and what was its structural and tectonic setting there.
  3. Outline the basic information of the field survey, how they can deduce the different types of metamorphism, their grades, and their physical and chemical conditions.
  4. Aquire the students skills with the economic important of the metamorphism to concentrate and developing ore deposits.
  5. Enable the students to use GPS in the field.
  6. Aquire the student skills in differentiating the settings of granitoid rocks.
  7. Enable the students to use plate tectonic model.
