2- Course aims :-
  1. Introduce the principles of geophysical prospecting techniques to explore the upper few kilometers of the earth for natural resources, environmental and engineering problems.
  2. Study the structural geology as a part of the global earth system and geological mapping, earth mechanics and aerial photos.
  3. Enable the students to planning of the field survey, selecting the appropriate equipement for each particular problem, GIS and remote sensing.
  4. Outline the basic information of various techniques of reducing geophysical data, forward and inverse modeling and the economic importance of the structural elements in the development of ore deposits.
