| - Introduce the principles of Micropaleontology.
- Outline the basic informations of taxonomy, ecology, morphology and shell-structures.
- Acquire the student skills of identifications, differentiation and description of microfossils.
- Study the shells-chemical composition, life history, and stratigaphic position.
- Develop the application of microfossil concepts in oil industry and envirnmental issues.
