2- Course aims :- |
| - Introduce the principles of the physical and historical geology.
- Outline the basic information of topographic contour maps and the most important geological events occurred on the earth since the first evolution.
- Acquire the students skills of weathering agents affecting the earth and the knowledge of date and mechanism of the geologic events.
- Introduce the principles of the different processes affecting the earth such as rivers, winds, groundwater, glaciers and coastal erosion.
- Develop the different topographic features from the different weathering processes.
- Outline the basic information of the stratigraphic sequences in Egypt and worldwide.
