2- Course aims :-
  1. Understanding and forming knowledge about factors of climate and their effects on vegetation distribution allover the world.
  2. Learning basis on relations between climatic factors and Rainbows, Halos, Sunrise and Sunset, The Blue of The Sky and Lightning and Thunder.
  3. Undertaking experience and gaining skills of the Mediterranean weather pattern and where to find it through the maps, figures and histograms.
  4. Explain the general meaning of the ecosystem and throw light on the major ecosystems of the world.
  5. Be aware of the main features that make up the natural and artificial ecosystems.
  6. Recognize the role of each component biotic and abiotic in the ecosystem
  7. Know historical notes on the flora of Egypt and characteristics of the flora
  8. Description of the different plant phytogeographical regions of Egypt.
  9. Description of plant geography, dispersed, barriers, endemism and relic areas.
  10. Recognition of phytoclimatic zones of the world.
  11. Description of latitudinal and altitudinal distribution of plants as well as the main vegetation types of arid lands.
