| 2- أهداف المقرر :- |
| - Understanding and forming knowledge about factors of climate and their effects on vegetation distribution allover the world.
- Learning basis on relations between climatic factors and Rainbows, Halos, Sunrise and Sunset, The Blue of The Sky and Lightning and Thunder.
- Undertaking experience and gaining skills of the Mediterranean weather pattern and where to find it through the maps, figures and histograms.
- Explain the general meaning of the ecosystem and throw light on the major ecosystems of the world.
- Be aware of the main features that make up the natural and artificial ecosystems.
- Recognize the role of each component biotic and abiotic in the ecosystem
- Know historical notes on the flora of Egypt and characteristics of the flora
- Description of the different plant phytogeographical regions of Egypt.
- Description of plant geography, dispersed, barriers, endemism and relic areas.
- Recognition of phytoclimatic zones of the world.
- Description of latitudinal and altitudinal distribution of plants as well as the main vegetation types of arid lands.
