2- Course aims :- |
| - Acquire students with the sufficient familiarity of the history of microbiology and make meaningful comments about each of the microbiological terms encountered during the course
- Give the students the academic background and practical experience about nature and structure of bacterial cells, classification, growth and reproduction as well as bacterial physiology
- Form knowledge about the economic importance of bacteria and actinomycetes as well as their impact on environment
- Acquire students the experience and skills of isolation, identification of bacteria from different sources and their nutritional requirement as well as their application and control
