2- Course aims :-
  1. Be aware of microbial physiology & to provide an understanding of the effects of environmental changes on cell structure, function & metabolism.
  2. Understand the physiology of microorganisms and how this led to some of the most important advancement in medicine, food science and agriculture during our civilization.
  3. Understand concepts and principles in applied microbiology, biotechnology and industrial fermentation processes.
  4. Understand and forming knowledge about general characters and economic importance of Viruses.
  5. Learn the basis on which viruses are classified.
  6. Undertake experience and gaining skills of cultivation, isolation, purification and preservation of virus from different hosts and their application and control.
