| - Understand and form knowledge about general characters of climate and its effects on plant distribution allover the world.
- Learn basis on relations between climatic factors and Rainbows, Halos, Sunrise and Sunset, The Blue of The Sky and Light and Thunder.
- Undertake experience and gain skills of the Mediterranean weather pattern and where to find it through the maps, figures and histograms.
- Explain the general meaning of the ecosystem and throw light on the major ecosystems of the world.
- Recognize the main features that make up the natural and artificial ecosystems.
- Recognize the role of each component biotic and abiotic in the ecosystem
- Know historical notes on the flora of Egypt and characteristics of the flora
- Descripe of the different plant phytogeographical regions of Egypt
