| - Studying systematic position, morphology, anatomy, ecology, evolution, development and life cycles of archegoniate plants through a comparative study of living and extinct specimens provide insight into the simplicity and commonality that underlines complex and diverse plants.
- High lighting on primitive and advanced characters in studied genera and species as well as the reaction of archegoniate plants with the environment.
