2- Course aims :- |
| - Outline the basic information about the origin of minerals and their mode of occurrence.
- Introduce the principles of the earth geochemistry.
- Acquire the students skills of the geochemical relations between different zones of the earth
- Enable the students to use isotopes, meteorites,geochemical cycle, sedimentation and metasomatism as a geochemical processes.
- Outline the basic information of the origin and paragenesis of the different minerals and crystals.
- Study the crystal symmetry, forms, habits, and Miller indices of the different crystals.
- Develop the students knowledge about the seven crystal systems and their description.
