2- Course aims :-
  1. Outline the basic information about the origin of minerals and their mode of occurrence.
  2. Introduce the principles of the earth geochemistry.
  3. Acquire the students skills of the geochemical relations between different zones of the earth
  4. Enable the students to use isotopes, meteorites,geochemical cycle, sedimentation and metasomatism as a geochemical processes.
  5. Outline the basic information of the origin and paragenesis of the different minerals and crystals.
  6. Study the crystal symmetry, forms, habits, and Miller indices of the different crystals.
  7. Develop the students knowledge about the seven crystal systems and their description.
