  1. Introduce the basic concepts of organic chemistry.
  2. Study the different parameters controlling the electron availability in covalent bonds.
  3. Study the factors affecting the strength of acids and bases.
  4. Study the different types of reagents and different types of reactions.
  5. Study the reaction mechanism.
  6. Study the factors affecting the rate of free radical substitution reactions.
  7. Study the different mechanisms of nucleophilic substitution reactions at saturated carbon atom.
  8. Study the methods of preparations of alicyclic compounds.
  9. Study the physical properties of the main alicyclic compounds.
