2- Course aims :-
  1. Introduce the students to the concept of the propagatio of wave
  2. Enable the student to use circular motion and simple harmonic motion.
  3. Acquaint the student with the fact that the superposition of two waves.
  4. Outline the basic information of the damping oscillations and forced oscillations.
  5. Introduce the students to the concept of the propagation of waves in strings rods and gases.
  6. Introduce the student to the concept of the wave nature of light..
  7. Acquaint the student with the fact that the superposition of light waves leads to a wide variety of effects called interference.
  8. Study two beams and multiple beam interference and application.
  9. Acquire the student’s skills to drive mathematical formula of the diffraction of light.
  10. Enable the students to use the diffraction grating is a powerful device for dispersing light into its component wavelength.
  11. Study polarization is firm evidence of the transverse nature of light wave.
