2- Course aims :-
  1. List and define knowing the requirements about organization, planing and control the production process in spinning mills
  2. Discuss and explain how to choose raw material ,mill site and production operations
  3. Construct and design a spinning mills for short and long staple spun yarn
  4. Estimate the productivity , number of machines, labour , floor space , power and lighting

1Textile Mill planning and organization; Capital requirement, choice of suitable site, planning for mill building.
2* Documentation relating to preparatory and spinning machinery: i) Choice of raw materials. ii) Spin plan, waste distribution, doubling, draft distribution and twist. iii) Production plan: machine productivity, machine specification, technology and technical data, layout of machinery. iv) Labor requirements, power consumption and floor space.
3* Spinning mill project for producing: i) Ring spun yarns (Carded - Combed – cotton/ synthetic blend ) for all counts. ii) Open-end yarns (cotton, cotton waste blend, production of combed yarn).
4* Calculation of production cost (Capital cost, operating cost, wage cost)
5* Calculation of standard time for the operator, efficiency %, and spindle allocation.
