2- Course aims :-
  1. The students should gain knowledge in depth in areas related to machine design in particular the power transmitting elements.
  2. The students, at the end of course, should be able to apply the scientific knowledge to a realistic problem.
  3. Both the course content and the project should improve the student ability to think scientifically and to assume and select properly.
  4. At the end of course the students should be able to design, analyse and solve design problems related to machine elements.
  5. At the termination of course the students should be able to work within a team-work.
  6. The course trains the students to use the computer and internet in particular AutoCad, Word, Power Point computer programs and to use industrial catalogues.
  7. The course should improve the student’s skills in communication and to express themselves properly and improve the oral and writing skills.
