2- Course aims :- |
| - The students should gain knowledge in depth in areas related to machine design in particular the power transmitting elements.
- The students, at the end of course, should be able to apply the scientific knowledge to a realistic problem.
- Both the course content and the project should improve the student ability to think scientifically and to assume and select properly.
- At the end of course the students should be able to design, analyse and solve design problems related to machine elements.
- At the termination of course the students should be able to work within a team-work.
- The course trains the students to use the computer and internet in particular AutoCad, Word, Power Point computer programs and to use industrial catalogues.
- The course should improve the student’s skills in communication and to express themselves properly and improve the oral and writing skills.
