      General program aims  
     
    1- To serve the nation by making available the accumulated expertise, knowledge and experience of the faculty to industry and government.
    2- To enable students to attain fundamental knowledge, acquire an appreciation of life-long learning, and develop skills in analysis, design, and teamwork. Students are expected to apply their theoretical knowledge and experimental skills to find practical solutions to a wide range of analytical and design problems, and develop oral and written communication skills necessary for a successful career.
    3- To prepare graduates to successfully enter rewarding and challenging careers in electronics and electrical communications engineering. The undergraduate program of study is designed with sufficient breadth and depth to enable our graduates to work successfully in industry or government, or to continue studies in graduate school.
    4- To prepare graduates to demonstrate professionalism and a sense of societal and ethical responsibility in all their endeavors.
    5- To prepare graduates to engage in professional development or post-graduate education to pursue flexible career paths amid future technological changes.
