- To understand the basic concepts of Biology and their connection to our lives.
- To recognize life’s levels of organization.
- To understand that all forms of life have common features (unity and diversity).
- To acquire knowledge about the processes that operate within each life function in representative plants and animals.
- To understand the types and the basic mechanisms of reproduction.
- To cope with the methods by which living things maintain genetic continuity.
- To acquire knowledge about organic evolution.
- To recognize that living organisms and their environment from interconnecting roles.
