| - to develop students'ability to write essay through extensive practice .
- to allow sts to get enough practice in writing in different forms , for exemple stories , simple poems , and journals .
- to help students develop self , peer and group editing skills .
- to help students improve their writing skills through the use of students own writing and repeated revisions .
- to acquaint sts with characteristics of effective writing .
