| - Apply the knowledge of environmental sciences, their related disciplines, applications and tools to the management of the environmental issues(1)
- Gain new knowledge and continually enhance the available information to improve the understanding and handling of the surrounding environment (2).
- Participate in the development and implementation of environmental policies, planning and strategies (3).
- Provide the students with an understanding of various aquatic ecosystems such as rivers, lakes and estuaries.
