  1. Apply the knowledge of environmental sciences, their related disciplines, applications and tools to the management of the environmental issues(1)
  2. Gain new knowledge and continually enhance the available information to improve the understanding and handling of the surrounding environment (2).
  3. Participate in the development and implementation of environmental policies, planning and strategies (3).
  4. Provide the students with an understanding of various aquatic ecosystems such as rivers, lakes and estuaries.
